It’s been a while since I posted anything here, largely due to the fact that I’ve been preoccupied with other things. The design and build of the 21st Century Heating website has certainly been keeping me busy. I’ve also been doing some design work for the new Barrington Stoke website.  In the pipeline are websites and design work for a photographic archive, various construction related companies and a kitchen company - more of which soon.

I recently built a website for a company called Tenbu who make a rather clever little gadget called Nio. Now, being someone who spends a significant amount of time browsing design and CSS showcases I was rather chuffed to see it had been listed here. 

My website has had something of an overall recently. Out go the Web 2.0 fresh colours and reflective surfaces, in comes contrast and texture or something like that. Like most redesigns that relate to a personal project it was a bit of a slow process but I’m fairly happy with the end result. 

Yes it’s happened. After too many years enslaved to Microsoft, I’ve gone and bought an iMac. And what a neat little bit of kit it is. Ok, the learning curve is a wee bit steep at the start and I’ve had to unlearn all those habits I picked up over the years using Windows but ultimately it’s a much more pleasurable experience.
